Checking In

Just checking in, since I've not written anything here in a while.

I'm currently engrossed in reading "LADY FRANKLIN'S REVENGE" by Ken McGoogan. This is an Advanced Reader Copy from HarperCollins Canada's "First Look" program. It's a biography about Lady Jane Franklin. She was an unconventional woman in conventional Victorian England. I don't want to write much more than that since, when I'm done it, I'll be posting my review on my other blog, Village Cafe. ;o)

Anyhoo. I've not been up to much more than that. Just hanging out, playing with my kids, reading, and going for the occasional swim at my Mom's. Trying to keep cool, mainly. ;o)
